    I need a new SIR book. Do you have any recommendations? I went through the Twilight series last year, but I'm kind of over the vampires.

    Hi, Maya--

    I have a couple of titles that you might like. Looking for Alaska by John Green is a good one. It's about a guy who goes off to boarding school as a junior in high school. He is very witty but there is plenty of drama, too. Another great read is The Book Thief Markus Zusak. I know you like history, and this takes place during WWII, so that might appeal to you. I have copies of both in my classroom, so I'll show them to you on Monday.
